I Feel Sorry For The Italian People....
but the problem is, where are they all going to go, as Some 44,222 asylum seekers have reached Italian shores this year, compared to 31,205 at the same time last year.

“I don't think we should but where are they returned to?”
That is only a problem if their point of embarkation is unknown.
“Of course it would help if satellite surveillance showed exactly where the boats travelled so that there was no denial of starting point.”
It does, OG. Believe me I know. Satellite surveillance is available to the UK and other EU countries which can tell observers what newspaper those being watched are reading. The authorities know exactly where these people have set out from to within a yard or two. They should simply be intercepted and towed back whence they came. They should be put ashore and the boats destroyed.
So long as the European nations continue to ferry them to Europe and subsequently fund their existence this invasion will prevail. As I keep suggesting, in the long term its effects will be every bit as profound as if they had pitched up in warships armed to the teeth. It needs to be made abundantly clear that setting out in a rubber boat from North Africa for a “new life” in Europe is simply not an option and will not be tolerated.
