it is not lawful for a coroner to say - I will release the body so that it can be disposed of, in any way but one ( scattering ashes on Saddleworth)
anyway they would be ashes by that time so I wouldnt have thought that his nanny powers (coroner knows best) extend to the disposal of ashes....
(yes I am aware that the hsitory of cremation involves an incredible victorian freak called Dr William Price)
