or so says Red Len.

Why would he undermine JC on the day the manifesto was launched?

And do ABers agree with him that 200 will be a level of success?

Interesting approach! We'll be "successful" if we merely get hammered rather than annihilated, only a Union leader could spin that one up! Good pep talk for Jezza!
I'm not sure how accurate my prediction based on AB's poll will turn out to be, but certainly it seemed to indicate that Labour might be lucky to manage 150. So on that metric 200 would be a success of sorts.

Problem is that Corbyn might believe this and stay on. I'd say that success in this election for Labour must at the very least mean increasing the number of seats, even if only by a handful, and so denying the Tories the chance to increase their majority. Anything that means moving backwards has to be seen as failure. If it's not seen that way then Labour will just learn the wrong lessons from this election and make the same mistakes come 2022.
You believe that Corbyn needs to see success to stay on ?

Surely lack of success means that there's still more to do: and with the membership behind him no reason to pass the reins over to a Blairite colleague.
I think that Labour has a zero chance of winning the Election.

Given the constant onslaught in the Tory media, I would be surprised if they managed to hang on to more 150 seats on June 9th.

If Mrs May has persuaded the British people that she is the saviour of the working class, than the lunatics really have taken over the asylum.
Tezza loves you mikey!

Who are 'the working class'?
Maybe Mikey is Jezza?

If success is measured by how much you fail then Labour will be a resounding success !

IF Labour were anything but a joke at the moment they would not be so far behind on the opinion polls and would be riding high. Conservative media and spin would be nothing if they were in touch with the majority of people.

The simple fact is they are unelectable and not just because they have a muppet for a leader.

Their policies are unworkable not least because they seem to have no concept Income versus expenditure. Any halfway decent policy they might have is doomed to failure on the back of outdated ideals.

People have moved on but it seems the Labour Party haven't.

Do you skip stories you dont like in the Guardian? Like this one?

And what is working class? and what is middle class? As far as I can see the class system has all but gone and at the very least is extremely muddles.

I'd tend to agree with yor post jim.
they should make Diane Abbot shadow chancellor, they they'd clean up on the comedy vote!
I thought I heard Corbyn say during his speech yesterday that Diane would be in charge of the Home Office.
