trt, I don't think you are being old fashioned and not cool.The amount of swearing these days is out of control. Some people don't even realise they are using swear words because they use them so much, and there is no need for it. If I were to cut my finger or something like that, I would swear, and it could be the F word, but I have never use that word when my children and grandchildren are present.

No you are not o-f or uncool. A 'sugar' usually allows me a relief from annoyance. Never seen the point in very bad language; sometimes use a variant of 'by our lady' and the occasional da*n. Psychopathic control-freak of ex-husband tried to cow and upset me by using horrible, horrible language - I got wise. Never used the f word, never will. Demeaning to have such a lack of control i.m.o.. Poor kids of such parents, what an awful example to set.

It's not as if Spacey was swearing AT someone. It was done for effect as Ramsay is well-known for swearing in anger. I wouldn't like to hear my dad saying that, and I'm sure neither of them speak like that in front of their children.
