Saw this last night on the news. It was a really good landing too. Brought back memories for me as I used to push Sea Vixens around when I did my aircraft movements tractor course many years ago and I was on duty at Yeovilton when Concorde landed there. The one in the museum.
WOW indeed, mikey. The pilot did really well to land the plane as smoothly as he did.

That was impressive.

No sparks !

Fistful of sparks at 16-18 seconds
Brilliant job.
Nice job but what a shame that the last Sea Vixen was so badly damaged.
If you like watching unusual landings, Mikey, you should come here to Suffolk, where RAF Woodbridge is used to test landings on un-surfaced runways.

A test pilot really has to trust that Airbus has got it right (when they say that the A400M can land on sand) before actually trying it out!
Great skill from the pilot, glad he's ok & I imagine they'll be able to fix the plane up eventually.
A wonderful display of skilful flying.
miraculous landing.
