This whole election build up is turning shabbier by the day. Simply unbelievable, petty, immature and irresponsible in many quarters.
It says something when Abbott is prepared to defy Corbyn to appear on another tv show and risk losing some of the ground that Labour appear to have gained in the last few weeks.

This is clearly nonsense, whipped up by a journalist who wants to defend Ms Abbott, at all costs, even the spurious notion that she is being attacked for her skin colour.
As far as I can see, Mrs May, and number of media commentators, and a large proportion of the electorate have problems with Ms Abbott.
These problems generally coalesce around the fact that she is incompetent, stratospherically irritating, unfit for political office, and a total liability for an already struggling party, of which she bafflingly remains a high profile member.
But none of those problems involve the colour of her skin.
