I can understand why many of you approve of and take comfort from the BCM statement. I follow all of its statements and am very impressed by most of them. This latest one is particularly good: the BCM employs very clever people who know just what to say to get liberal-minded Westerners eating out of their hand.
I knew my earlier post questioning the credentials of the BCM would be ignored by some, but I invite the open-minded among you who accept the good faith of the press statement to read the link in my earlier post and think about its implications. This is the BCM making its case
against the PREVENT initiative and shows the support they received from today's Manchester mayor.
Also what do you make of the BCM's description of "Asian" grooming gangs as an "urban myth"?
From that post:
//This is BCM on the PREVENT program. Note praise for (wait for it) Andy Burnham:

Regarding talks with government the BCM, once a darling of Blair's New Labour, at some time fell out with government and has lost its status as preferred, if self-appointed, Muslim community representative. Don't know the details of this, but BCM does whinge about "unfair suspicions(or some such)" and "wanting to mend bridges(or some such)" on its website.
