The French will use French ferry companies and the French government will pay them to do it , no way can the UK fine them.
Even if we did there is no way to enforce it, they will simply dump them at Dover docks and sail back home.

I'm not 'making it up' this has all been in the news! You can Google it as well as I can. I was accused of 'making up' the story that Mrs May was 'anti brexit' before she was PM but read the link I posted . Here it is again in case you missed it

The same story is on Google from Metro and the Independent if you don't want to believe The Guardian.
I will Google and post Macron's remarks that the UK / France border being in Calais will have to be 'reviewed' when we leave the EU and the suggestions that France charters ships to send the migrants to Dover if you wish but it will be better if you do it for yourselves so I can't be accused of cheating or lying!

Webbo, short of getting the Navy to block or sink them , which is an act of war ! , we can't stop a ship from docking at a UK port! Once docked we can refuse the migrants entry to the UK but we can't send them back . they will just be stranded on the dockside! But France will have achieved it's object of getting them off French soil.
An alternative would be for France to charter ships to take them to the Irish republic which will still be part of the EU but will have an open unchecked land border with Northern Ireland ( especially if the Tories team up with the DUP!) , Northern Ireland is part of and will remain in the UK but out of the EU you don't need me to tell you what happens next!!
If the UK government suggests any form of border control between NI and the republic that is the Conservative / DUP deal blown! and the Tories out of power . Corbyn will then do a deal with sinn fein / SNP/ Lib Dems / Greens and become the Labour PM ! DUP will may even change sides to get a say as well.

Eddie, as has been said, if Corbyn becomes Prime Minister, problem solved. He'll let them all in.
I get confused by your posts. You argue for migrants to come here, and yet when we have a situation where you think it might support your wish to remain in the EU, you argue against them coming here. Curious.

Eddie // ........... we can't stop a ship from docking at a UK port!//
I don't see how that would work if they are not given a port. However for France to rip up the agreement would first need negotiation according to it's rules, which would take time and it will remain in force for two years afterwards, even if they they do.
So refuse to panic.

Naomi I DO NOT argue for migrants to come here! I point out errors in the thinking of others who think that there is a 'magic formula' or some sort of 'easy way' to solve the problem. I am pointing out that it will be EXCEPTIONALLY DIFFICULT to solve the problem, especially if people like the new French president have their way!
