What Theresa May needs right now , to save herself, is another Falklands Style Conflict, not a real war , just the type of conflict to get every one waving the union jack, send in the Royal Navy, the Parras and the SAS, who all three sorted the Argies out, that after all is what saved Thatcher, try it THERESA. I am sure Boris could stir up enough S--t to start one????

I'm sure it was tongue in cheek, and few would deny that a leader's popularity soars if successful during a military conflict (providing one isn't ill advised and opts to stay away) but suggesting one is started deliberately gets folk annoyed. Double fail in that starting one deliberately is unthinkable so suggesting it inviting criticism, and alluding to a previous conflict suggests trivialising it. Probably not meant that way, but black humour is risky in public forums. You may know your mates won't be offended, but a portion of those on the Net will be.
