I don't know how many of you go over to Editor's Blog, but AB Editor has announced on there that he will be leaving Answerbank for horizons new, but will still contribute to the site as a member.

I am sure that News section regulars who don't normally leave the news section, will now nip over to Editor's Blog and convey their good wishes to him?

Yes I know that, I was addressing those who hadn't.
Ah...okey-dokey !

Have you got the Daily Mails spin on it?
A very kind post AOG.
Yes...to be fair to AOG, very kind !

Thanks to you both, just thought such important AB news, should be more widely announced.
Thanks AOG I dont go on there often.

I wonder if the Ed is issuing leaving amnesties - i.e. can I have my avatar back after a number of years being banned. After all we are leaving the EU now! (Banned avatar was a finger to the EU, perhaps a little close to the knuckle but a few years ban?) I promise to be a good boy now!

Have you checked recently Maf? I think you have to reactivate it through the usual channels, or perhaps a grovelling email to HQ will suffice. ;-)

Yes that is a good idea a parting amnesty, for those banned under the present Ed's term in office.

Not the serious 'bad boys' of course, but those banned for what many could not see the reason for their banning, Retrocop springs to mind.

Perhaps we can ask the new Ed to issue a future list of banned or suspended ABers, along with the crime they have been found of.

If nothing else it will warn future wrongdoers of how far they can go.

Perhaps it wasn't the Ed that removed your Avatar, but Gravatar, they are careful what might cause offence.
Thanks OG,

I have sent my best wishes to him, and hope the new Ed will take some notice of some of the ideas from A/Bs about improving the site.
Plus sort the clock out.
Sorry, AOG, not OG.
I won't be making any big changes this week, so I'd just save up requests of this sort until the new regime takes over :)

(I imagine that none of what has been requested here will be taken very seriously however, but who knows.)
(Mamya, Clock will be wound ASAP)

Does it really matter Mam, not a clock watcher are you?
I like accuracy in a clock.
Ohhh if we are to perhaps have an amnesty, will there be a sort A.B. "Honours List" released as well, in the style of outgoing PMs or Presidents? (^_*)
