And she still can't bring herself to admit that a referendum could only be called if the UK government, not the scottish parliament, so decided. It is not up to her, the SNP or the Scottish parliament. The Scots are, after all, citizens of this United Kingdom and voted, by a large margin, so to remain.

They also voted - by an even larger margin - to remain in the EU, didn't they? However they are going to be withdrawn therefrom willy-nilly by Mrs Weak'n'Wobbly's propped-up crew!

YMB, are you literally NEVER going to grasp what "sour grapes" actually means? I ask because it has been explained frequently on AB for the benefit of those, like yourself, who make such regular use of it.
It refers to pretending not to want what you cannot have anyway. How does that apply to the situation under discussion here? What is it that Ms Sturgeon...or I...claim we don't want?

Seriously, is that how you see a Scottish parliament in which Ms Sturgeon's SNP hold 63 seats to Labour's 24 and the Tories 31? The latter two between them still fall 8 short!
It would have made vastly more sense if you'd said the SNP have a substantial "edge" over their major opponents.
And, as for using The Express as a source of comment, nuff said!

The leader of only one British political party is "teetering", as we've seen this very day, when the women of Northern Ireland gained access to the same free abortion treatment (in England) as all other UK women already had.
The May-bot, faced with the first potential revolt of her own backbenchers, crumbled. When will the next one be, one wonders?
