Snow At Glastonbury This Year
So do you think Jon Snow should be sacked by Channel 4 for his "extreme views", or do you agree with Peter Bone, another Tory MP, that it's effectively a fuss about nothing?

Perhaps the Tories should be wondering why Mrs May was not at Glasto. Not that she shows any great gift for mixing with ordinary people.

Even if he did actually say "eff the tories" (dubious proof at best), there's no evidence whatsoever that this degree of partiality has actually affected his coverage.
If it emerges that Snow repeatedly misquotes Tory MPs and/or reports dishonestly about the Conservatives specifically to get across an anti-tory agenda, then I will worry about it. Until then, it's a fuss over nothing.

My view is that if you can remember saying "eff the Tories" at Glasto then you weren't there.
And if you didn't say it then you probably shouldn't have been there :-)
Apparently Peter Bone, sensible chap, said that Mr Snow should not be sacked as we'd miss his ties, and in any case everyone knows his views.
I heard someone earlier referring to Jeremy Corbyn (with his Glasto fans) as a virtual demagogue, until I realised she'd actually said "demigod". But an interesting confusion ...

Shame about Glastonbury, hijacked by the Lefties. Have to wonder how all the penniless austerity suffering youngsters could afford £240 tickets. Starting to look like a Marxist rally, not unlike the National Socialist conscription of the children of Germany. Instead of the Hitler youth are we witnessing the rise of the Corbynista youth? Plenty of misguided and ill informed fervour. Perhaps Layboor will promise to make it free next year. haha. :))
'Jon Snow responds', says the headline, but I can't see a response - at least not one that either confirms or denies the allegation. That said, he is supposed to remain neutral, so if he did say it I'm not surprised he's not admitting it.
Mikey, //Perhaps the Tories should be wondering why Mrs May was not at Glasto. //
They don't need to wonder. Anyone with any sense understands that she's a very busy lady at the moment.

I am led to believe that the Fragrant Abbot is due to appear at Reading festival. Her press agent says that she will be tunefully croaking(toad like) a medley of tunes that include, Eight and a Half Days a Week, Nine Red Balloons, Nineteen Thousandth Nervous Breakdown, and Thirty Three Steps To Heaven.
