Apparently, there are health benefits provided by circumcision. But I would never have willingly allowed a child of mine to undego such a procedure without proper medical attendance and a valid medical reason.
It is barbaric and should have no place in modern society unless the individual concerned is old enough to make an informed decision and give their consent.
