Fox Hunting Vote Shelved By Government
http:// www.bbc .co.uk/ news/uk -politi cs-4049 1921
"The Conservatives promised a free vote on fox hunting in their general election manifesto, and during the campaign Theresa May said she was in favour of bringing it back.
But Mrs May lost her majority in the election and now ministers say will be no vote in this "session".
Well, at least here is some good news !

This is why I voted Labour to help reduce her majority and it worked, as many others did it as well !!

I believe that she brought it up because she was asked. Personally I think that the promised vote is a cross between a hot potato and a sop for Cerberus. A vote would be unwelcome because of the trouble it would cause; similarly to remove it from the manifesto would cause trouble from a different group of people. Its a teeny weeny benefit from Brexit that its given another good excuse to shelve the promised free vote.
the foxes are safe but the government is a shambles, with ministers abandoning traditional cabinet responsibility and charging around with daggers in their hands frantically backing the policies they opposed last week. I think that can be safely blamed on May, actually.
Anyway, someone's happy
