Of course you should be able to chose. Choosing is not the problem it was her blatant racism.
Nothing to do with who you let a room to. She made a racist comment.
She should just have not accepted the booking.No comment needed.

The host entered into an agreement with Airbnb, and then broke the contract. So whatever happened after that is her own fault.
If she was particular about who she let her room to, then it was obviously stupid to use a service like Airbnb, where the vetting is done by a third party.
She's a racist and has been found out, mainly because she was stupid enough to damit it.
