I would hate for someone that I loved to be missing - but I don't know what the next step will be in this investigation.

I don't see why the military would feel any different. A good solider is a good soldier regardless of what he/her gets up to off duty.
He's missing, assumed dead, his sex life is none of our business!

When working in the Forces and the Government blackmail is always a possibility. They really don't care what you get up to if your open and honest and it cannot be held against you at a later date.
for example a friend got into serious debt with a 'money lender' it got so nasty the money lender started threatnening to go to his work!! That would have lost him his job - so he went to his boss told him - they got him assistance and a loan - money paid off and no harm done!

It is not so much the 'dogging' in itself, it was that Mckeague was reported to be fond of doing the deed while in full uniform.
( Minus his trousers obviously) I was astounded that Ummmm could not see any reason why The RAF would be worried about the possibility of blackmail due to the perverse sexual exploits of one of its airmen!
Yes mikey, I do sometimes feel a bit like King Canute and the waves ;-)
