// Her solicitor, Attiq Malik, has written to the school saying its actions were a ‘straightforward’ test case of discrimination on the grounds of religion. ///
/// Mr Malik, of Liberty Law Solicitors, added: ‘The Government constantly talks about British values. To me, those values include diversity and multiculturalism.’ ///

//In an email from deputy head Ross Wilson to Serroukh on 21 June, the deputy said the school did not have a written policy banning visitors wearing a face veil.
“It has not been necessary to date for the school to have this requirement stated in written policy,” wrote Wilson. “Given the concerns you have raised, we are now considering a written amendment to our health and safety policy to include this specific requirement and will follow the normal protocol of seeking the approval of the governing body.”//
They did not have a policy at that time, possibly do now.

This woman is offended for a reason.
Rather than religious reasons I suspect it is for publicity reasons.
Publicity for a 'cause'. Which in this case would be to the normalising of full face covering when inappropriate, just to get it across to us numpties that full face covering is a fact we cannot stop or get away from for fear of appearing racist or far right or whatever.
Forget the fact it is a school and for the safety of everyone, especially the children, everyone should be seen and identifiable at all times.
These type of people shout racist to shut you up. It often works so they do it even when not appropriate. Say it enough times and it becomes true.

Can't see why the school have a problem with her wearing the veil, and it looks as though they want to introduce a banning policy as a result of this.
The school obviously has some sort of security at the gate, the lady is happy to lift her veil and produce photo ID for security to verify who she is and that she has a reason for entering the grounds and to lift the veil when dealing with a female teacher, so what exactly is the problem ?
I'd say it is discrimination because I can't see any particularly good reason for introducing the ban on parents wearing the veil.
