No it hasn't Mickey, every time one of your lefty mates puts something up it comes to nothing, thought he would be impeached within the week?
Trump understands the system all right, he simply does not want to play by its rules and that is what is causing the upset. He believes he knows better and in some cases he may well do since politics is a big cess pit.

mikey; //I am going to stop all Muslims from coming to America"//
Now you are telling lies.
Trump did everything he could to stop obamacare - whether you agree with it or not, that is what he said he wanted to do and it wasn't in the end possible, he was overruled. The USA is a democracy not a dictatorship.

Which bit of “Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what is going on” isn't a call for all Muslims from entering the US?
Also, I think to say that Trump did "all he could" to repeal ObamaCare is a bit of a stretch; he was clearly not that involved in writing the new legislation or designing it, since he hailed the House Bill from earlier in the year a success, and then not long afterwards called it "mean"; nor did any of the Senate options reflect what Trump seemed to have wanted. Nor was he in or around the Senate at the time, it seems, leaving it to Pence to try and get things through.
The best he seems to have done is tried to threaten people that if they don't get *something* through then he'll take away something or other; it was reported that Murkowski (R, Alaska) was told in a phone call that if she voted against then some amount of funding for Alaska would be cut:

or this threat:

However, perhaps the problem is that Trump wasn't actually all that fussed about HealthCare in the first place; shouting about it was a means to an end, as it was all Republicans could go on about for the last seven years. I have said earlier that it's a Republican failure rather than a Trump one. Still, the self-professed master negotiator and author of "Art of the Deal" could, I am sure, have done better if he'd really wanted to.

Muslims from certain parts of the world only. There was nothing ever to prevent a British Muslim getting on a plane at Heathrow and flying to the USA.
Threats are not lies, have you any idea what the whips can do in parliament?
The real liars are the Corbyns and Mc Donnels of this world, lying to young voters to gain their votes that they would not only remove tuition fees but student debt to boot - cost, 100 billion pounds.

Jim; Do you not find it odd - to say the least- that you are prepared to spend such effort, to the degree of following Donald Trump's tweets in order to catch him out. He, being the president of the USA 3,000 miles away, and yet turn a blind eye to the leaders of the British Labour party who have consistently lied, not only in the last election, but about their involvement with the murderous IRA, Hamas and Hezbolla?
The concept of lying is interesting, because it requires intent to deceive. That is not the same as saying something is not true.
For example - if I believe the earth is flat, and I say so, I am not lying, although what I am saying is not true.
So the vital distinction needs to be applied - did the individual know that what they were saying was not true, in which case they are lying, or did they believe it to be true, even though it was not true, in which case they are not lying.

Perhaps it would be better if you kept yourself informed, K. I'm not going to keep doing your research for you, especially if you ignore me when I do. You asked for proof, I provided some, and it went seemingly unnoticed.
Trump's lies, falsehoods, disregard for the truth, dishonesty, or just complete lack of awareness of what actually is fact -- whatever you want to call it -- are a matter of public record. It's no good dismissing them as twisted by the fake news, when I literally have provided the sources from the horse's mouth. There is no excuse for denying what he says when I point you directly to where he said it. Also, deflecting criticism by complaining about the Labour party is just a distraction tactic and you know it. Trump is president of the US, Labour have no power right now; I know which one I care about more, currently.

Neither of your links (15:09 Tue) contain lies, they contain threats which as I said before are not lies and what the UK parliamentary whips do regularly. Some others given on this thread are just trivial mistakes about facts which any politician can do speaking off the cuff.
There has nothing been said by Trump that remotely resembles the lies told by Corbyn, or John Mc Donnell saying that the Tories murdered the victims of Grenfel Tower.

I am not a lover or Jeremy Corbyn (in either the political or the Diane Abbott sense) but I am not sure I would accuse him of telling "lies" exactly. Contentious, evasive (will we hear any condemnation of President Maduro for example?) perhaps. And even Trump's ravings pale into insignificance compared to those of an out-and-out gangster like Putin.
