Totally over the top.It should be up to the volunteers whether they wish to wear a badge or not,
If the NT rely on volunteers and members, who I believe pay a reasonable amount of money to join, this is not going to do them any favours at all.
Time for the volunteers to offer their services elsewhere.

Well out of order, hopefully the Volunteers will take their services elsewhere.
An unreasonable imposition by an employer. The employees may not be gay nor feel it is anything to be proud of. That's management bigotry, force feeding the public the rainbow agenda. Is the NT management in the Gay Mafia perhaps ? I've heard about them.
// Totally over the top.It should be up to the volunteers whether they wish to wear a badge or not,//

good ! "if you wanna be a volunteer then then you will damn well step into line and do as we say during the time you volunteer or you can volunteer for the door which is over there !"

do you have volunteers who say
oh I would rather not do this
and I would rather not do that....
well I clearly have.....

"oh I am a volunteer and I will stand here and appraise you as you do all the stuff you have asked us to do while we watch" - yes I have had that as well
i stand corrected, they aren't even employees but volunteers. That's worse then.

when you volunteered for the Marines was it Baldric
you added - but I dont want to wear that awful tunic - it chafes something awful
and the recruting sargeant said ......
We had to wear our investment in people badge even though we all thought 'what investment in people'!!
Don't see what the issue is - unless their anti gay!!

I'll have just a half of whatever Peter is drinking please.
"It's part of the trust's prejudice and pride series as they mark the legalisation of homosexuality"

Don't volunteer those days then!

// Time for the volunteers to offer their services elsewhere.//
rare agreement with Naomi
adding - the EDF are looking for volunteers and you get to wear a really cute Cross of St George ....

yes... OFFER their services
if they dont want to volunteer under those conditions
they just tippety tap to some place that does

just like Balders
I want to volunteer for the Marines
but I dont want to shoot anyone
well just step this way sir .....
Islay, I can see a devout religious volunteer taking them to court (ahem, lol).
Islay, it would be more than surprising if all the volunteers were pro-gay.

On second thoughts cancel 08:33, it's most likely not a good idea!
It was no secret the previous owner was gay as it has been talked about for years and years so that is a petty excuse.
If you don't want to wear the badge then don't volunteer there - simples - pop down to Sheringham or Cromer and volunteer in one of the hundereds of charity shops that are there!!
It seems to me quite sad when organisations that depend on voluntary help involve themselves in controversial issues that are unrelated to the sterling work they’re doing. Volunteers are hard to come by.
Don't see what the issue is - unless their anti gay!!

If I was volunteering and someone or some organisation tried to force me to do something I would refuse whatever the cause was and whether or not I supported the cause.

Bullies!
So ... I guess the evidence is that I'm anti-gay.
Aren't you Talbot?
