No, not at all.

Corbynistas love him.

Momentum love him.

Unions love him.

What's not to love when you've been told to leave if you don't agree with the party policies?
Almost put onions but managed to spot it in time lol
As Cassa says, this will do nothing to make his core supporters waver, and probably is not enough to deter swing voters.

Anti-Semitism is now endemic in Labour. Corbyn got the, hardly impartial, sharmi chakravarty to make an 'inquiry' into it which turned out to be an unconscionable whitewash.
As party leader he must speak out, but because he is anti-Semitic himself he is reluctant to do so.
A bit in the Mail not covered in the link is that Laura Keunssberg d a bodyguard with her at the rally following threats made to her on Twitter.

Kromo; // this will do nothing to make his core supporters waver, and probably is not enough to deter swing voters. //

Then I take it that you are asserting that Labour is in fact an anti-Semitic party?
Oh dear, conference is told about the importance of free speech. Can't have that
Yes it is now time that the Left were called neo-nazis

For those who, like me, can't access the Telegraph website, I found this report in the Sun. I trust it deals with the same issue.

Pretty shameful state of affairs. I wonder how many Labour supporters here who consistently condemn racism will do likewise in this case?
well punters

when the news viddie of Corbo mounting the white stairs outside address the adoring hangers on to cries Corbyn Corbyn....was shown

did anyone notice the flag being waved in the background ?

[ sorry fixated on teh recent progz on Lawrence and Gertrude Bell ]

Wes Stretting is a jewish activist as well as a Labour MP.
He has been publish by the Labour Friends of Israel in their book 'Making the progressive case for Israel'.

So he is in fact a lobbyist on behalf of Israel.

Many People, not just Labour left, have a problem with Israel due to the country's military offensives against neighbouring people. So to some Israel is a rougue nation, a pariah state, and worthy of condemnation.

Unfortunately some with an agenda can twist oppostion to Israeli atrocities as an attack on all jews and therefore anti semitic. But it isn't, it is just calling out oppression, and legitimate criticism.

So Corbyn and the Labour Party will continue to tell our friend Israel, when it is breaking International Law, that it must stop. And that will inevitably upset the Israel libbyistsin the party, who wll then whinge to the Daily Telegraph.
Gromit, what has calls for all Jews to be expelled from the Labour party got to do with Israel.
dannyk13,
// At a fringe event titled Free Speech on Israel, speakers called for the Jewish Labour Movement (JLM) and Labour Friends of Israel (LFI) to be “kicked out” of the party and said Israel had committed “genocide” in Gaza. //

LJM and LFI are a faction within Labour that have their own agenda with which they want to influence the Party. They are identical to Momentum who act and behave in exactly the same way to further their pet causes. People are always calling for Momentum supporters to be kick out of the Labour Party, but they won't be. Just like no Jewish MP or Labour Party member will be kicked out. The Labour Party members decide on policy, not the LFI or Momentum. If these fringe groups make a strong case, the overall membership might support it, but generally they will choose the most inclusive consensus approach.
KJJ and co have always loved terrorists, IRA, Hamas, Hezbollah surprised they haven't invited ISIS over for Shisha pipe conference.
Gromit, //So Corbyn and the Labour Party will continue to tell our friend Israel, when it is breaking International Law, that it must stop.//

But that isn’t what Corbyn and the Labour Party are doing. Corbyn and the Labour Party would rather Israel didn’t exist at all. From a political perspective I can appreciate that point of view, but the fact is Israel does exist and it will continue to exist. Corbyn - and friends - need to accept that.
//the fact is Israel does exist and it will continue to exist. //

I would add that in the current climate Corbyn & Co ought to be damn well pleased it does!
Naomi,
Corbyn and the Labour Party are well aware that Israel exists. They might think that historically it was a mistake to create a state in a location where it was surrounded by sworn enemies. But they accept that it is there. They just wish it would obey international law and was sanctioned when it doesn't.
I am sure a lot of us would wish North Korea didn't exist, but that doesn't mean we cannot comment on it, or we don't accept that it is there.
Gromit, I know they're aware it exists but the fact remains they would rather it didn't. Anti-Zionism runs deep within the Labour party and it isn't simply the requirement for the application of international law that they're interested in. If it were, they would restrict their activities to attempting to achieve that - but they don't. They actively take sides. Of that there is no doubt.
Just noticed that the speaker at the Labour Party Fringe meeting that is getting everyone hot and bothered about anti semitism is Miko Peled. He is an Israeli born to a zionist family, and author.

Question Author
Gromit; Considering that Hamas is dedicated to the total destruction of Israel, and Muslims feel duty bound to kill all Jews. It isn't surprising he wants to draw attention to anti-Semitism wherever he finds it, is it?
