Mail, Sun, Mirror and Daily Star as far as I can find.

I am sure that if I am wrong someone will soon be along with the evidence.

Maybe when the trial is over it will be picked up.
AOG, you are assuming they are guilty.

/// Are you happy with the reason given - that he has a much lower profile than other footballers? ///

No, I am sure that there are many more much lower than him, but then again they are not rapists, and also don't bring along a mate to join him, in a gang rape of a young 17 year old girl.

Fair dinkums, no they have not been found guilty yet, so please insert the word allegedly.
Could it be the same as the Rotherham type child abuse cases, that some are frightened to do so in case they are classed racist?

I'm not scared of being called racist AOG, people who shout 'racist' at the drop of a hat do more harm than good imo and are best ignored.
I wouldn't call you racist AOG ... because it would be removed.

Good grief, AOG. The post meant that this footballer is much lower profile than other footballers who have been in the media for rape.

As all false accusations are, I hope.
Well really there is a lot of onesided detail in that newspaper article which is designed to make the men look guilty.
Perhaps the newspaper should not report on such alleged crimes until a verdict is reached!

Does that make it a much lesser crime?

Incidentally Ched Evans was found not guilty.
Does that make it a much lesser crime?

Surely you can see that it makes it less newsworthy, AOG?
Every day up and down the land there are court cases and of course some of those involve rape - is what you are saying that each and every one of those should make the News outlet/s you think count?

Are you saying that all serious criminal trials should not be reported to the public until a verdict has been reached?

You haven't really thought this one out, have you?

However, I have recently voiced my opinion on the fact that the men should not be named until they have been proven guilty, but some, mainly women, disagreed with me.
The most sickening and brutal rapes are never reported in the media even after a guilty verdict.

He was an ex Premier League footballer, who played for Yeovil and Cardiff locally but more particularly he has played for Arsenal and Leicester City.'

Hardly a none celebrity.

Why are some of you defending these two alleged rapists?
all accused are entitled to a defence AOG

thought that was the law of the land

verdict. ///

Perhaps a sign of the times that we live in, proven by those who obviously would have wished this disgusting double rape not to be reported on.
I have never and will never defend any rapist or in this case accused rapists and I resent the implication I would, but with the best will in the world all such cases cannot demand the same publicity.

Your best bet would be to find access to somewhere you can see what cases are in the courts each day so you don't miss them because your chosen outlets may not report them.

Yo
AOG, it is nothing to do with - it is to protect the identity of the victim where a child has been raped by a parent or guardian.

And have I ever said any different?

But it is a pity that some don't practice what they preach at times when it suits them not to.
This alleged rape has been reported on , it's simply you who doesn't approve of where it has been reported.
