/// AOG....but not fox hunters though is she ? She even wants to repeal the Hunting with Dogs
Act. ///
Sad thing though mikey is the fact that these loveable 'doggy' like animals are vicious killers and need to be culled.
Fox hunting is an ancient national tradition, and while Bull fighting is allowed in Spain, why can't we hang on to one of our traditions also?

I do wonder how many people have actually read the link:
"Bitter lefties wreck Tory gin party?"
... Well, call me callous, but I really do struggle to find it in me to care.
Re: the topic of this thread - i.e. protests at the Tory conference... so what? The Conservative party is the governing party. Why shouldn't protests happen at their conference?

//The MEN reports that police are having to draft in officers from nearby forces to help out, and have had to cancel their leave.
Security will be tight - especially after the Manchester bombing which killed 22 people just four months earlier.//
//Many more armed police will be on duty, not only inside the venue, but also across the city centre, to "respond immediately" to any serious threat//

Is that not a bit insidious though?
I mean I get that there are limits (personally I am against hate speech law in principle, but libel etc surely deserves prosecution) - but just declaring everyone outside of the exact centre to be "extremist" doesn't seem healthy.
Plus it is not these protesters' fault that the police are under resourced. Right to protest is not a fanciful luxury, it's an important part of a functioning civil society - and the fact that it annoys or inconveniences people really is not that important.

///Dave...20,000 fewer Police than in 2010....so are you sure ?///
