Yes JTH that thought crossed my mind too as it seems a little quick to let him out. OJ does not seem to be the sharpest knife in the draw so he could easily think he was home free.

It is the belief held my some that the severity of the sentence dished out by the judge in the kidnap case was to make up for the fact that he was not convicted in the Simpson/Goodman case
