Brian Rix would have been delighted with the Tory Farce.
Forget all about the bluster and false promises of backing the PM.
A strong person because she made it through a speech with a cough!
This is the party in charge of the security of the U.K. but a member of the audience is able to get out of a seat, walk to the PM's podium and casually hand her a sheet of paper, then go to Boris Johnson and make a comment.
Unbelievable. Whoever was in charge of security should be getting a P45 today.
I accept that he did not have a weapon but could have inflicted severe damage he was so close. We all know today about the "one punch" kill!

It was a disaster.
It was built around 'the British Dream' something that culturally doesn't exist. You can only have a soundbite like that if there is a consensus about what it is and what it means. But no one knows what it is, and it is not something that is ingrained in the public conciousness like 'the American Dream' is.
It was a nonsensical tag line to begin with. And then there was the unfortunate mishaps. A poor soundbite which totally backfired. She may have uttered 'Dream' 33 times, but people will just remember the 'Nightmare'.
W/T/F is the "one punch" kill?
TTT, it's err, a punch which delivered in the correct place of a human, kills them.
I thought it was some kind of Euphemism. There is no such punch, usually if someone dies after being punched it's because they hit their head on something afterwards nowt to do with the punch directly.
ttt. //There is no such punch,//

It's a hard un to da froat

I doubt anyone wanting to rid the world of Theresa May would send in a street brawler.
Brodkin had enough time for this ...

not saying it's not possible, if you can hit the head with enough force, with a cricket bat, or indeed a fist, sure you can kill but from the phrase above I though they are claiming a particular technique to hit in a certain place. I have never heard of a death by a single punch directly other that those were the victim hits their head on something solid, usually the floor.

Spoken like a true Brit, I don't think so.
It's called the pile driver punch, 3t's.
I'm not going to give details, but there are 2 distinct places on the head where one solitary blow can have the victim dead before they hit the ground.

Security at this conference was laughable.

The 'British Dream' is made up rubbish. No one uses the term, so it is not good to use it as the basis for a rallying speech.
We can guess what it means, but I suspect everyones guess would be different. Your British Dream would be to turn back the clock to 1951. Others dream would differ.
Saying the speech was rubbish is not being anti-British. Nearly everyone agrees it was rubbish. I notice that your anti-British taunts only come out when you have no sensible counter-argument.
One punch kill experts can also whistle a note that is gradually rising in pitch, that finds the resonant frequency which will unlock any door.

The 'British Dream' was what made this country to be called 'Great Britain' although there are some who not as proud as we once were, and so try and down cry this still great country down at every opportunity, preferring to be ruled by their EU masters.

/// Your British Dream would be to turn back the clock to 1951. ///

Why have you chosen that particular year? Not been looking into your crystal ball again have you Gromit?
