Baby Driver.
If you have a car accident in London, are you likely to be dragged from your car, wrestled to the ground, handcuffed, arrested and taken to a high security police station for interrogation?

No.
Hundreds of car accidents happen every day in London.
You know that. I know that. Everyone knows that.
The accident you are referring to was exceptional, not usual.
If you prang the back of an Audi in Aldgate, you may curse, then swap insurance details.
If you bump into a BMW in Bromley, you may sigh, then swap insurance details.
If you rear end a Toyota in Tottenham, you may shout, then swap insurance details.
But you won’t get arrested by the anti-terrorist squad.
...ever.

Just jude, I assume you are referring to the case that was on the news yesterday? The car swerved and drove into a group of people who were walking on the pavement. The exact same situation as the last terror attacks where a car/van was used to run people down. Even the police assumed it was another terrorist incident. It was several hours before it was reported as just an accident. As said, no one would assume a bump between two cars or a car hitting a bollard was terror related. But this was the same as the recent terror attacks where a vehicle has been intentionally driven into pedestrians.
