If you have a car accident in London, are you likely to be dragged from your car, wrestled to the ground, handcuffed, arrested and taken to a high security police station for interrogation?

These days eh?

You can thrown in prison for saying....

Does it boost your Ego posting stupid non-news items in News,
Grow up!
Only if you is wearing a hood and have scary red eye sockets ...
Depends on the accident I guess......if it's driving into pedestrians by accident or on purpose this is likely what will happen now......
Due to the recent spate of terrorist attacks using a car as a weapon, If you drive into a group of people yes, you will be assumed to be a terrorist and get such a reaction. If the driver had been a terrorist you would be praising the action of passers by in restraining him.

Baldric. A terrorist alert in London is non-news?

Yeah...we could be heading that way.

No.

Hundreds of car accidents happen every day in London.

You know that. I know that. Everyone knows that.

The accident you are referring to was exceptional, not usual.

If you prang the back of an Audi in Aldgate, you may curse, then swap insurance details.

If you bump into a BMW in Bromley, you may sigh, then swap insurance details.

If you rear end a Toyota in Tottenham, you may shout, then swap insurance details.

But you won’t get arrested by the anti-terrorist squad.

...ever.

Just-Jude, it was never a Terrorist Incident, get over it.

Even if he just reversed into a bollard?
But if he hits a Honda in Hammersmith, SP... dealing with the anti-terrorist squad would be preferable to dealing with Gness... ;-)

Central London flooded with ambulances, fire services, and shoot-to-kill police.

Someone thought it was.
Its the way that the Police dragged him from the car, and wrestled him on the ground, without first testing if he had any injuries for the crash that bothers me.
I wouldn't be inclined to shout in Tottenham neither.
JJ...yeah...Khandro thought it was !
Just jude, I assume you are referring to the case that was on the news yesterday? The car swerved and drove into a group of people who were walking on the pavement. The exact same situation as the last terror attacks where a car/van was used to run people down. Even the police assumed it was another terrorist incident. It was several hours before it was reported as just an accident. As said, no one would assume a bump between two cars or a car hitting a bollard was terror related. But this was the same as the recent terror attacks where a vehicle has been intentionally driven into pedestrians.
Thank goodness my pied-a-terre is in Kensington.

We just kick the carp out of each other.
What has 'baby' got to do with it?
mikey, the police did not drag the driver from the car

^^ Immaturity imo
