Gorgeous George.......

Am I the only one who has an overwhelming desire to see Sadam's mate, in an orange jump suit in Guantanamo?

WaldoMcFroog - there do seem to be ever less people who are bothered about justice and the right to a fair trial in this country don't there!? Worries me a little I must say!
Galloway might deserve it, IF guilty, but it's a pity people are become so impatient as to want to throw away human rights for ALL of us.
as I write this, Gorgeous George is on the beeb demanding to be prosecuted/indicted for perjury.
I thought Georgie gave them a good run for their money.
I thought his main point was 'true' which was this was a side show to ddistract attention away from the disastrous adventure in iraq
and in that I would agree with him
Ok lets say conclusive evidence comes to light that show georgie boy is bang to rights with his snort in the trough, something that would not surprise me in the slightest...will i wonder his supporters accept that, you bet they won't, they'll say its a big american conspiracy to slur the 'great man of the poor downtrodden masses'..and that in itself is a contradiction in terms..
Surfer mike - just to say that I think Gorgeous George is a dispicable odious man.
That said, I assume he is guilty until proven innocent. He has faced one hearing and (imho) come out of it looking like he 'won'.
If he is found guilty (and I mean guilty in a sensible trial as opposed to guilty by media) , I will have no hesitation to agree that he should be imprisoned.
Shame that as aa Blair supporter you can't agree that Blair should be imprisoned for taking us into a war on false preteneces (though I am sure you think that WMDs will still be found).
The buck stops where?
If you can get cast iron proof that blair knew that hussain had no weapons before he took us to war then yes he should be impeached...but as yet apart from the usual conspiracy ******** by the usual sources nobody have come up with any.. so if it applies to galloway innocent till proven guilty then it should apply to blair...as i seem to remember practically every country thought he had still had those weapons at the time...blair as a leader must decide as regards the intelligence at the time and the intelligence told him saddam had them...
Yeah, usual conspiracy rubbish.
People like Hans Blix - what a load or cr@p they talk. I mean what are his credentials?
Russia, Germany and France, - nations who opposed a new UN resolution - because they believed weapons inspectors were making progress.
Amazing how quick history is rewritten and how quick we forget!
You asked whether blair should be jailed or thrown out of office....i told you yes if conclusive evidence comes to light...that prove he knew all along that hussain never had those weapons..as ever you change the record and talk about all those people who were against the invasion/liberation!, which is a different issue entirely...Blix, france, russia and germany were also of the opinion he had those weapons...thats a fact...i take your point about rewriting history though but both sides are equally guilty on that...
