That link only leads to a Facebook login page for me (and I don't do Facebook).
Not on Facebook. What did she do?

Log in to FB, good grief, it's just not going to happen :o(
I don't believe she has,my personal opinion.
Has anyone said it was crime? She was asked to move for safety reasons. Others were asked to move, not just her. The serving of tea is irrelvant. If she'd been knitting she would have been asked/ordered to move
Story's a bit fracking biased, imo..
hard to say- the Metro articles ends with the words "When the indomitable Jackie refused to do exactly as she was told, the second she was ordered to; this is what happened next.’

But it doesn't tell us what happened next

I find it hard to believe 12 policemen could/would grab her simultaneously. When I read some of the stuff the anti fracking protestors say - including claims about flames coming out of your water supply and major tremors- i find it difficult to take some of their claims about police treatment seriously unless there is other evidence
trt- your link in black at the end has thrown my screen layout out- the one that says

Protesters will always complain that police action is 'heavy-handed, but the simple fact is, citizens are required to obey the police - their opinion of the reason for the instruction is not the issue.

Regardless of whether the prote4stors disagreed with the safety assessment, they were asked to move, and required to do so.

The lady did not commit a crime by serving tea, but failure to obey a police officer can be an arrestable offence under the Public Order Act Section Five.
ever heard of http://tinyurl.com/

Criminal behaviour. Who serves tea made with tea bags and puts the milk in afterwards? Lock the Philistine up and throw away the key. Or make her do hard layboor breaking rock cakes.
Makes you wonder what the frack the world is coming to when the police stop you stopping for tea. Stil, everyone must set themselves free when the clock strikes three.
what TTT says...
Old_Geezer - // Makes you wonder what the frack the world is coming to when the police stop you stopping for tea. //

The lady wasn't stopped from making and serving tea - if you check out the story, you will see that there was a potential safety issue involved.

Absolutely. If they asked for a chocolate digestive and she gave them rich tea biscuits she deserves everything she gets.
