I'm not particularly in the mood to go down that rabbit hole too far, but the point is that if indeed the NFL were, as you say, not hiring this "eejit" because of his protest, then it's a massive double standard, is it not, to turn a blind eye to the other lot?

Also I should add that 2016 was, apparently, one of Kaepernick's best personally, so it's not clear that the NFL teams can claim that he's not been hired because of incompetence (which would be a pretty good reason or cover). The various people mentioned in the link I gave are not exactly pleasant characters either and indeed could potentially be guilty of actual crimes, but the NFL tolerates that anyway because they are presumably good players.
So it is with Kaepernick, or so it ought to be. That he's not been drafted at all, despite being still a good player, does seem rather puzzling.

(A lot of if's warning)
If (I don't know) he is a good player, then it seems odd that teams that have a vacancy are not signing him. So he may have a case that he is being excluded.
If the team owners are colluding to exclude him, and if that is against the rules (or the law) then he will win the case.
If he cannot prove it, then he will lose.
And he is not an idiot for making a peaceful protest, that apparently is not against the rules.

I don't know what the overlap is between the "thugs" in the NFL and the protesters, but I should imagine that there are at least a few players who don't fit into both categories (and rather a lot who don't fit into either).
But that rather misses the point I was making -- deliberately missing it, at a guess -- that it's nonsensical to exclude someone protesting from teams on the grounds that it gives your team a bad image, while simultaneously turning a blind eye to those players who *are* thugs, or are abusive at home.
You can't sidestep genuine accusations of double standards in such a cynical way as spicerack was trying.

// Does anyone else find it interesting that Kaepernick? has never registered to vote. //
I do. He is fighting the system, not one party or one President. He thinks the Republicans AND the Demoncrats are part of a system that oppresses black people, and therefore it wpuld be hypicritical to vote for either of them. In terms you might understand, he chose 'No Deal' with the politicians, rather than a 'Bad Deal'.

So if he is so big and his ideas are so popular why doesnt he form a Party representing these ideas?
I strongly suspect he is being snubbed because he is a trouble maker and not a team player. Does not matter how good you are individually if you split the team.
Due to his actions I doubt he will be able to prove any case of 'discrimination' there are too many valid reasons not to employ him.

"It will be most interesting to see if players choose to rejoin their brothers in the ghettos or their multi-million dollar contracts.
Can't wait."
But surely you're not saying that it might be pragmatically wiser not to stick up for your principles in the interests of continuing a potentially lucrative footballing career?
