I don't know about the ladies, but I'm just bored, I have an impatient side. Have brought you another blanket, it is cooler today.

//As soon as it is rescinded that is it over and done with, we stay in, and nothing changes.//
My my, you are so gullible. The EU will punish us for daring to vote out and causing all this exposure of the evils of them.
Don't for one minute imagine that things will go 'back to normal'.
In addition, dont forget Junker and Co have let the cat out the bag. One Nation, one currency, no sovereignty.

The truth is that we have adults behaving like children and Politicians who don't know how to leave the club of which UK was a member.
The UK has said that it is leaving the EU and should now say "We have left but will discuss , without any financial commitments at this stage, the future relationship we would wish with the EU".
Parliament can be left out, initially, and then consulted on issues which then prevail.
Hans.

Mickey, May went to offer some concession, that is what one side must do sometimes when negotiating. The EU however dont want to know.
She has shown she is willing to negotiate, the EU have shown they are not. Have you seen the thread 2 up from this: https:/ /www.th eanswer bank.co .uk/New s/Quest ion1575 734.htm l

YMB....May went to Florence, not to offer a concession, but to beg for more time. She needs the extra time...the EU doesn't.
Europe is playing hard ball here, without doubt. But May and her dysfunctional and dis-unified Cabinet is not helping the situation at all.
You will rarely hear any praise from me, for the former female Tory PM, but do you think she would have put up with a Cabinet like this ?

No one is even suggesting A50 has not been invoked , but it can be rescinded at any time right up to the second before it is signed.

May has been advised recently she can revoke it apparently - not by Mrs Mopp darn de road but by a Crown Law officer - no I have not seen it

Note for Eddie:-
In the recent UK Supreme Court case on Article 50, both sides assumed that it was irrevocable and the court judgement concluded: "We are content to proceed on the basis that that is correct, without expressing any view of our own..."
//
I think the question over whether Article 50 is irreversible hasn't really been settled properly, but I'm not sure that we're at the point where it's on the table to even try. More likely the "transition" period will actually be a "we need another two years before a transition" period. I don't think staying in the EU any longer than strictly necessary after the referendum vote is tenable democratically.

Can any of the AB 'brexit' brigade provide any positive news or information that Brexit will actually happen? Recently all the news has been that it is increasingly unlikely.
As to A50 being reversed this is from the person who actually wrote A50.

"I don't think staying in the EU any longer than strictly necessary after the referendum vote is tenable democratically. " - jim, eddie and the dreamers keep saying it will never happen. Eddie, what do you tink will happen then? It'll all go away and you'll wake up like Bobby Ewing? Please explain how we will not leave, you say it often enough, I think we'd all like to comprehend the scenario.
