The British Caribbean were colonised by the British who brought labour from Africa, India and elsewhere in the Empire.
India Arrival Day is a national holiday in many parts of the Caribbean and commemorates the arrival of those colonists, similar to Thankgiving in the United States. The fact that the IAC gave condolences when the former Attorney General died, does not make him Indian.
