This is the second Republican Senator that has severely criticised Trump in the last few hours.

If Trump can't even command loyalty and respect from his own Party, what chance has got to continue to lead his country ?

the Republicans aren't Trump's party. He was a Democrat when he ran for office before. It was purely a matter of mutual convenience. The Republicans wanted a Republican in the White House. Trump wanted Trump in the White House. Each needed the other for their goals to be achieved.
Absolutely right jno.
He’s really no more a republican than I am :-)
As for the ‘obsession’ with Trump, it’s tge leader of the most powerful nation on earth versus a party which doesn’t even govern a small island off France (major trading partners Sri Lanka and New Zealand ;-) )
It is his life-long party and yet he doesn't care ... power at any price is it?

8th biggest island in the world.
Naomi, your reply makes no sense to me !!!!!
Mikey, //Naomi...why are you continuing to give support to this ogre ?//

I'm not supporting him - I'm exposing your disingenuous agenda. I detest these witch hunts you keep leading.

anneasquith, //Naomi, your reply makes no sense to me !!!!!//

The comes as no surprise.
I find it rather amusing that someone who will post a BBC link on a thread that already has numerous links about the same story didn't use a BBC link on his own thread.

There had to be a reason.
Hoorah, Danny ! You've just solved my Christmas present problems ! Trump-face loo-paper in everyone's stocking !
" the comes as no surprise" ? Oh heck :-)
Anne, to close the issue: Naomi appears to be wondering why Mickey failed to post a link to the story where the real reason was written. i.e. the good thing comment.

Also in there was the poll prediction the chap would loose his seat (or whatever they call it), hence the reference to not accumulating enough in the polls.

Mickey, perhaps you need to research a bit before conducting further Trump witch hunts. And maybe not post at that time in the morning even if you are suffering insomnia?
Another day, another Trump sacking/resignation/slanging match. It's incredible he has lasted this long.
Soon be tweeting time for Mr. President .
//It's incredible he has lasted this long.//

Why, he is draining the swamp as promised. As he has no real allegiance to either Republican or Democrat having funded himself he is able to do this. The swamp contains both parties remember.

He is also peeing off the liberal left, especially the luvvies and MSM this will go down well with many fed up Americans.

Well done, MFB at 11:45.
Oops. ^YMB.
He’s actually achieving nothing as president though. His message is totally negative and it seems that his supporters only support him for what they think he opposes and not for any positive reason. Which can’t be a good thing
Depends on your viewpoint Ick. I would not expect you (or many others on here) to see anything positive from him even if it was a plain as the hole in your backside.
