It's impossible to say whether this is a good summarisation of the situation, because we are only viewing from outside the Hollywood bubble.

Incidentally, for those who didn't make it all the way through the 1,900 word piece, here's something to mull over from the end.

Yes for me it was the use of completely derogatory language and flavour used during the whole piece. Fairly unbelievable in the 21st century that muppets like this can still spout their vitriol dressed up as edgy and incisive journalism. A horrible bigoted article from end to end :(

It's not a horrible bigoted article at all. It may not be written in a lefty liberal PC fashion but that doesnt make it bigoted.

I can't see how Weinstein can ever get a fair trial, but then these days Trial By Media seems to be the rage. Gone are the days of innocent until proven guilty all it takes is someone with a grudge on Twitface and some poor sod is marked for life.

Not saying Weinstein is innocent, but then at present he is not Guilty in the eyes of the law either. But you would not think so by many articles written about him. If he is guilty I think it will be the trial by media that 'gets him off'.
