I am not sure if this has been brought up on AB before.
I hope that a full enquiry is started, to find out how this horrible man was allowed to adopt this poor little girl. Cases like this make my blood run cold.....what a wicked, wicked man.

One has to ask would she still be alive had she not been removed from her mothers care ?
mikey: "...but the authorities should be taken to task, as to why they ignored all the evidence that was available" - yes indeed but this keeps happening because they are more interested in PC cobras than doing a proper job, "its their culture" yada yada yada. Get some operatives with an ounce of common, anyone can see this lowlife should not be anywhere near kids.
My daughter adopted a 12wk old baby girl last year. The hoops that have to be jumped through is unbelievable.
In my daughter's case, as soon as the adoption papers have been signed that's the end of the matter for the social services. There were no follow up visits by social workers. Up to that date twice weekly visits were made.
I think this is a tragic case.

Very sad. I don't think the social service could have intervened.
My son woke up about 6 times a night almost every night. I probably shouted a few times. It drive me to .... I certainly didn't squeeze him or shake him. My dad was the same with my sister. Both grew up to be happy and healthy.
I can't see any mention of another adopted child with Scully-Hicks and his partner.

Social Services intervened 15 times and yet this poor little girl was left in the care of this truly wicked man.
