Notice how the Guardian has mentioned that a right-wing group has asked for a boycott of Greggs? does it matter what political leaning they are, it is still an insult to Christians, had it been another religion they would have gone further than that, people would be dead.

I can just imagine the uproar if an equivalent advert had been done in a similar vain with a certain prophet. There would have been uproar, shops burnt, death threats and the left would have been jumping up and down going on about how it was a disgusting slur on a peaceful religion.

I can see how the sausage element might be offensive. They should have used a Cornish pastie.
It's not 'unmutable' though is it Naomi???? Hahahaha.
There is a branch of Judaism, shunned by the mainstream, called Messianic Jews, who believe that Jesus WAS the Messiah.
Kvalidir 10.45 , another good reply.
kvalidir, I think you mean 'immutable' - and yes, it is.
Jackdaw, as you say, shunned by the mainstream.
Or unmountable Naomi? :))
I certainly wish come people could be muted around here ;-)
I don't doubt that, kvalidir.

Togo, something like that. ;o)
Please don't let this thread develop into the usual string of inconsequential remarks.
You can mute every single poster ... by simply handing in your notice.
A Sermon on the Unmountable doesn't have quite the same ring does it? :-D
//There is a branch of Judaism, shunned by the mainstream, //

Where I live there's a branch of Greggs shunned by the mainstream because it sells sushi and tofu.
Oh yes how remiss of me, since the two words hold identical meanings and I couldn't be bothered to revisit the thread where you incorrectly used it. However you are right, you did wrongly use 'immutable' rather than 'unmutable' but it matters not because they mean the same thing, so whichever one you used in error the meaning is the same.

Well as stupid and tacky as the advert obviously is , they would hardly depict a Religion that doesn't eat pork with...a pork based product.

As said it's tacky and unpleasant.

Yes, and that's just their sausage rolls.
Dave at 12.23. You're right.
