Change that to..."Outside interference in the UK Election by ANY foreign state, friend or foe, is not acceptable. For a foreign state to collude (or act with the knowledge of UK politicians) is very serious."
Gromit applauds that though especially EU interference. Meehh.

The charge isn’t ‘spying’ it is attempting to influence. There is no doubt that that at least happened. The Russians are free to influence how they see fit. And it is up to us to make sure we are aware of what is going on and the nature of the threat. And meanwhile the investigation into collusion by US elements - which would count possibly as treason - continues.
// This is all tiresome and boring.//
er - Flynn has pleaded guilty to a criminal charge - and so everything Flynn did CAN'T be lawful even tho Trump says it is.... duh

I am unaware of any EU interference in the EU referendum. If there were, it clearly didn’t work.
I am aware however of dark money (from where, who knows? ) being channelled to the DUP to place an advert in the Metro Nespaper (that isn’t even distributed in NI) on the day of the referendum. And of £3/4million going to a fashion student to target the yoth vote ( which never appeared in his accounts). There certainly was outside influence in the EU referendum, but the finger is pointing at Ex-Dom Conservative donors.

What I'm thinking of is that I've never heard of anyone being convicted of 'Lying to the police' per se, it depends entirely on the context. If the police ask me if I know someone (and I do) and I say I don't, what then?

This is the bit where I play khandro's card and say "well I have read the book, so there" :-)
I recommend it - it's very good: full of ... facts.
