What Makes A Man. What Makes A Woman
13 Answers
Jennyjoans thread yesterday talks about how her friends husband was afraid to tell his wife that he *liked* dogs.
Just wondering here, what woman on earth would want a husband that was afraid of her?
Wimps arnt exactly appealing are they?
Conversely, Gents, what makes a woman a real woman for you?
(personally, I'm single at 51 and carp at relationships so no judgment here)... ;-)

I like quietly confident intelligent men, men who I consider to be proper alpha males not the thuggish, swaggery, insecure wannabes that are usually conjured up by use of that word. I like men who are strong enough to stand up to people but not bullying of others, someone who listens and speaks in more or less equal measure, someone artistic, cultured, clever and good at SOMETHING, doesn't really matter what, he could be a Barrister or could just be good at airfix kits, but someone who has some sort of passion that has left them skilled some way. Must like kids, animals and be nurturing of both, can't be too right wing or racist, sexist, divisionist in any way, the list of ideals is endless. My first love was nearly all of those things, my present one, gorgeous glorious thing he is is probably less than half, so just goes to show you, but to answer your question, I'd hate a man to be afraid of me, that's the depths of unattractiveness.
