i know this is one case, but how many more people get through the system without proper checks. This poor lady is now on the mend and at least her assailant got a suitable sentence.
Emmie....I saw that earlier this morning, and its ruddy atrocious. Avant Healthcare either knew about this horrible woman's previous record or it didn't. They say they didn't, and I don't believe them for one moment. If they have done the checks that they say they did, then these previous convictions would have become known. Avant Healthcare is lying...
Well Mikey, in all honesty, I shot someone in my early teens, but due to the fact I havent had a repeat of this in 40+ years I am now considered a safe bet.
ratter....but that doesn't seem to be the case here. Avant Healthcare said that they " had undertook a "robust" interviewing process, including thorough referencing and criminal checks"
They went onto say "Avant said it was not aware of the actual bodily harm conviction.
The spokesman added: "If Avant Healthcare had been aware of an assault conviction, Abosede Adeyinka would not have been employed."
Lol, no Mikey, I was still at school and I shot a friend with a rifle, we were taking pot shots at each other, I was a better shot and he got a shot in the rear and was taken to hospital by his mother and the hospital called the police. We were and still are good friends. The police made a big issue of it all but the court gave me my gun back :-).
