I realise that this may not be of much interest outside of Wales, but it just goes to show, that UKIP never really went away....it just festers on the edges, and continues to make a fool of itself.

What a sad life you must lead. If it weren't for UKIP, Trump or paedophiles you would have nothing to post about (except the bleedin' Archers)

Jack...thanks for that !

I always know when I am winning an argument, when the personal attacks start.

For the record, do you agree with this UKIP pillock, or not ?
The article doesn't make clear what the problem is. Being transgender is surely not the norm now ?
For the record, yes, I agree with him, though I would not describe him as a pillock, your favourite term of abuse of late.
jackdaw, don't forget Lidl.
he is obviously out of step with modern life,
emmie, I think there are times when being out of touch with modern life is the sensible approach.
I assume you are referring to these comments: ""There is only so much deviation from the norm that any society can take before that society completely implodes.

"If we carry on down this road of appeasing the nuttiest elements of the transgender movement," he said, "then what we will face as a society, within a very short space of time, is total implosion."" - bang on if you ask me. Not sure how common sense is "hateful".

OG....listen to what the man said....highly offensive and the Chair was right to admonish him....she did give him the opportunity to apologise.
I find nothing offensive in his remarks, nor should he have any need to apologise. Of course, Corbyn fans may take a different view.
I could be wrong but I don't recall you being a cheerleader for transgender people, Mikey ... Is it cos he's UKIP?
Got it in one, Talbot. Pity his name isn't Trump or Mikey would be on a roll.
I think when it comes to "nutty elements" Mr Bennett may be speaking with a degree of inside knowledge :-)
Question Author
Itchy...isn't it nice to see so many people agreeing with the UKIP Member here...... and so few coming out in support of transgender people !

I don't care about the party he's in mikey, he's correct. I cannot see anything wrong or offensive in what he's saying.
Mikey, as TTT would say, "Yer 'avin' a Turkish"
Question Author
TTT...to paraphrase Mandy Rice Davies, you would say that wouldn't you ?
"it just festers on the edges, and continues to make a fool of itself."

If I were asked to sum up the Labour Party in one sentence I couldn't better that.
Mikey, //so few coming out in support of transgender people !//

You're virtue signalling again. He's not talking about transgender people per se. He’s talking about “appeasing the nuttiest elements of the transgender movement". Do you not agree that nutty elements of the transgender movement exist?
