Good old Boris. About as subtle as kick in the nuts. Accusing Russia of interfering in British politics at a press conference with the Russian foreign minister. Maybe he should be called Les Patterson?

Where did he do that?
He mentioned Russian interference in elections in the US, France, Denmark and Germany. Although he could have mentioned Russian trolling of British MPs who have spoken against Putin.
The Russians invited him, he went, he did the usual diplomatic sutff, probably some of it in a uniquely Boris way. I suspect he was as diplomatic as he could have been in the company of criminals pretending to be politicians who seek respectability by courting countries such as the UK.

ichkeria, I heard him say it on the TV coverage
Mr Johnson said: "I'm delighted to say that there are increasing exports of British kettle crisps to Russia and 300 Bentleys have been sold this year in Russia - not, I believe necessarily to employees of the Foreign Ministry but nonetheless a sign of progress."

i like him, and if the Iranian lady is let out of her prison soon then fair play to him because he went there on the premise of future cordial relations with Iran, who has done that in recent years? Now you berate him for being in Russia, if you can't understand him now, you never will. he is doing what he does best and for that i wish him well. He is not a buffoon as some seem to think, nor a toff or any of the idiot things he has been accused of.
Emmie....I am on record as saying 2 things :::
1....If Boris can get that poor woman out of Iran, than he will get my thanks and praise.
2...I have warned against people thinking of him as just a buffoon. He is highly intelligent, and should never be underestimated.
But he is too much of a loose cannon. He is inconsistent and can't be trusted. He is like a big Labrador, that is OK when kept on a short leash but off the leash, he is uncontrollable.

About time somebody had the balls to tell the gangsters some plain truth. Even on here our Marxist "friends" have huffed and puffed about Russian interference in our elections, including the US elections. But now that Boris is reading the gits their fortunes the opportunist gainsayers are in full echo chamber reverberation mode. In their own backyard as well....that does take bravery. Good lad Boris.
