"TTT....if Corbyn is so horrid and lefty, why did he manage to get 30 more seats for Labour in June ? " - Search me mate I cannot fathom why anyone would vote Labour, even Psuedo Tory "Labour".
TTT....but did vote Labour in June.....12,878,460 of them !
Question Author
yes, inexplicable, thankfully more voted Tory.
TTT,

Of course Labour are to the left. The centre is not left.

I won’t try to explain it for a third time.
Question Author
gromit you said above: "Tora, I repeat LABOUR are not moving to the centre, the centre is moving to them. " - so if the centre is moving to them the centre is moving left as you already admit Labour is left. is their some semantic point that I have missed?
Question Author
Yet above you say the centre is not the left! You can't have it both ways.
TTT....Only 791,423 more people voted Tory.....wasn't this a close-run thing ?
Mikey, calm down. Corbyn was good at rallying the gullible until the gullible realised they'd been hoodwinked. Throughout history others have done the same and each and every one of them have come to grief. People think they want what the Corbyns of this world have to offer - until they get it.
Changed your mind since 1997 then Naomi, when you were an enthusiastic Labour supporter !
Yes, I have Mikey. I grew up.
Ah....a fair weather supporter !
I presume that means there's been no fair weather from Labour since 1997 ... and I'd have to agree with you, Mikey.
Naomi....I don't agree at all, but I have no intention of using the last few hours of 2017 going over the same ground as I have gone over so many times before.

We will wait and see see what happens when May calls another Election, which I accept may not be very soon.
Ah....a fair weather supporter !

Just as bad as a 'I vote Labour cos I have always vote Labour and so did me dad' supporter

!
Mikey, Reading your repetitive posts here that's exactly what you seemed to have in mind. Gosh! What a relief!

Bleedin hell Tora, are you completely thick?

The centre does not move, the left and right parties move closer and further away from it.

In the current situation, the Conservatives have positioned themselves close to UKIP territory on the far right (on purpose), therefore, they are further from the centre (which is static).
