Trump's Mental Health And Why People Are Discussing It

I heard the live interview with the author of this book on "Today" this morning, and Michael Wolff made a good defence of his legations.
Even if only half of them are true, then the Trump situation is worse than we thought.

Trump's behaviour has been cited as a subject of concern by over 100 professional psychiatrist s. It's not hard to spot. The constant backstabbing , vitriol, lying, over reactions. Plus the huge number of accounts by ex-staffers (very few stay long) describing his deranged behaviour... he blatantly is not well. As for "policies" (as if he ever had any...

What a terrible piece of journalism by the BBC (who I’m usually a supporter of). It’s simply an advert for Wolff’s book under the guise of a poorly constructed ‘clutching at straws’ article.
I’m not a fan of Trump but it’s clearly been written by someone not old enough to realise that a great many successful people are eccentric. To equate eccentricity with mental health problems is crass and demonstrates a naivety about human nature.

Are you really suggesting that the psychiatry profession is in on a big political conspiracy, Khandro? Have you had your Thetan levels read lately?
Honestly look at Trump's behaviour. Constant backstabbing and meltdowns against former allies, constantly firing white house staffers, violent mood swings, 4am twitter meltdowns, eating from McDonalds because he is afraid of being poisoned... honestly, does this strike you as a healthy person?

Ymb,
// Only if the democrats get their act together... //
The democrats won’t remove him, his own side will.
The Russia Inquiry will see his son and son in law jailed, and Trump will be further isolated because he will run out of people to sack.
In the end Trump will be desperate to go, and senior Republicans will work out a retirement plan and install Pence.

With a Republican Presidency, Republican Control of the Senate and the House, there should be a Tsunami of Republican bills and a right wing push to redress 8 years of Obama.
The startling thing is, that hasn’t happened. In the 12 months since Trump took over he has achieved virtually nothing. He has been stymied at every turn. He got tax cuts only because the Republican let that one through.
It is clear that Trumps biggest enemy is the Republican Party who never wanted him in the first place. The are currently employing a tactic of containent, constantly watching, making sure he doesn’t actually do anything. Which is why Trump is reduced to Tweeting about stuff he sees on telly.
Wolff’s book is not full of Democrats having a pop, it is full of Republicans and former friends.

The usual tactic of trying to taint someone with a point of view that is not true in an attempt to gain the virtue signallers high ground. It would not occur to the "shallow thinkers" that just because we do not approve of the despicable attempts to thwart democracy by any means possible, which descend further into the cess pit of self serving decay daily, that we by default support their targets. It becomes more apparent daily, on both sides of the Atlantic, that the lies and misinformation favoured by the would be self appointed superior classes, have become a first "tool" of choice. These tools will take some putting back into the Pandora's box whence they have been procured.
