According to Mr Farage, anyway. Do you think the penny has just dropped?

When did he say that?
Link?
that isn't going to happen. He did say the other day that he would like to see a second referendum, why i don;t know, seeing how close the first one was.
As I understand it, Farage expects any second Ref. to produce a larger vote to leave.

I can't say that I agree with him on that, but that is his belief.
Lots of things could happen. Pigs could evolve wings next generation.
Ah, I see. Your heading is a little misleading to say the least. No, I don't think the penny has just dropped. Like the rest of us I think he's always been aware of the on-going opposition to the outcome of the democratic referendum.
i don't believe it would, ^^
that was to Mikey, sorry

Nothing to do with a second referendum Mikey. All to do with the parliamentary vote.
“We no longer have a majority in parliament. I think we would lose the vote in parliament,” Farage said.
Question Author
Naomi, my title is a question. How can a question be misleading?
What is not going to happen is the ‘hard Brexit’ beloved of Farage and some Tories.
What is fascinating will be the reaction anongst the hardliners as the truth dawns. Maybe Farage still thinks momentum for it can be given another shunt from ‘the people’ in a popular vote. But that bird has long, long flown. Reality dictates that we will probably leave the EU in name only. It won’t be what many people thought it would be.

Agree 100% Ich.
Zacs, your heading followed by your subsequent comment and further question gives the impression that, for Farage, a penny may have just dropped ... but it hasn't.
According to the Sunday Express 'no deal' will cost the EU £500 billion and the UK will get a £650 billion boost.
He didn't ever say he wanted another referendum he said it might be a good idea, - in the light that the polls suggest an increased majority for leave - to shut up people like Blair.
He later retracted the point anyway, so it's a non-issue.
If it ever turns out to be in name only, it'll just have to be returned to at the earliest opportunity and renegotiated. Just adds weight to the argument that we ought to just go.
Zacs....even if a second Ref. were to take place, it would still leave the same MPs in Parliament. So he same danger would still exist of Parliament putting the kibosh on the deal at the last minute. ( by the way, I don't think that will happen )

This is all about Farage wanting to stay in the news. He likes to be the centre of attention.
mikey, how do you know for sure he likes to be the centre of attention, his opinion is as valid as anyone's and if gets asked to appear on tv, then why should he refuse.

Naomi, you first stated ‘Your heading is a little misleading to say the least’ and latterly stated it’s my heading followed by my subsequent comment. Make your mind up dear.

I admit, the ‘penny/dropped’ comment was a little TIC. I could just imagine Farage taking his socks off and it suddenly dawning on him that he was about to lose his job and thinking ‘oh bu99ery what can I do to prevent that!?’
