Yesterday My Troubles

came home to roost!
I had the diabetic clinic. My A1c had rocketed from 68% to 79%. But when you take in to consideration the last 4 months I’m not in the slightest bit surprised. While my sugars were up they weren’t a concern until December hit and my routine went 50 types of wrong, had an infection and had antibiotics and I did EVERYTHING I knew I could to settle them but no they weren’t having it. Nurse was on stand by to try alternative measures suggested by me if it came to it. Thankfully it didn’t quite come to that the doctor I saw took into consideration everything that has been going on and said ‘new week, so use your tools and knowledge and bring things back into line’ which I’ve been doing anyway but this week is my first normal week, so here is hoping.
Had to see my GP my liver is clear and my iron bloods came back clear also, he wasn’t chuffed at my sugars (I’m not either if I’m brutally honest but I’m doing my best) but either my Ibs is progressively getting worse or I may be in the early stages of Gastroperesis caused by my diabulimia. Playing it by ear at the moment. Also I’ve to have further investigations now on this stupid ruddy cyst on my ovary - back to see the rather abrupt Gynae it would seem.
Onwards and upwards so they say, and wish my luck, I feel I might need it!

Today has been relatively plain sailing. My sugars have fluctuated but it’s hard to gauge when I’m at work. No tummy trouble either so Egg Mayo, Porridge, Banana, Cereal Bar Meatloaf and Veg don’t affect it - so that’s a plus!
I’ll get there slowly I’m not rushing anything as of yet.
