With an over 80% black population and only 8.4% white, it highly unlikely that it could possibly have worked, Thatcher or no Thatcher.

No I didn't have anything to do with mining, and no Talbot my answer was not stupid, what I actually said was "I can't ever remember seeing any black miners", which was a perfectly true statement, I didn't, that was not that there were none, as some have later proved.
