It made headline news on last nights TV news, obviously any illegal sexual assault, such as hands up skirts or the grasping of boobs should have been reported and the perpetrators punished, but this was a male club and the women were employed as highly paid hostesses, they must have known what to expect when the wine, beer a champagne started to flow.

there is already a thread on sexual abuse which includes this story, having said that its an appalling way to treat women, they weren't there to be groped but to serve drinks. It wasn't a male club but a prestigious London hotel.

^That doesn't hold true for the taxi driver.
^That was in response to the post at 10:04.
I believe thee ladies signed a contract prior to this occasion, if ( inappropriate sexual behaviour to be expected ) was in the contract then they have no reason to object ?
There was also a brochure on every table with a full page, to remind the men, that any inappropriate sexual harassment would not be tolerated.

Why do they need to be told that?
£150 pay for few hours work and rubbing shoulders with wealthy men - wots not to like ?

Bet the hostesses never spared a thought for uninvited wives & kids whose fathers they might exploit.
Tambo - that's not their job to.

So it's not necessarily wealth related then.
I have never expected a woman employed to serve me in any capacity to put up with me groping her, being verbally abusive or suggestive however much she is paid.
Why would any man think it is okay to treat women in that way?

By the way, £150 for 10 -12 hours is not highly paid. They were expected to turn up for work at 4pm and stay until at least 2 am.
these men paid 2,000k for a ticket, perhaps they thought they were getting some freebies where the girls were concerned.
This sounds to me like what used to be known as a "gentleman's evening" The "hostesses" would have been paid for their services and probably knew what to expect, not saying this was a full blown strip night but it does seem to have been organised along those lines.
did no one notice that David Wallaims was hosting the gig -
What's that got to do with anything? Walliams claims he saw no untoward behaviour but he did leave as soon as he had finished hosting at 11.30pm
he seems a surprise host that's all i meant...
Where there's a potential fuss to be made it's guaranteed that someone will take great pleasure in making it.
emmie - // he seems a surprise host that's all i meant... //

Boorish humourless men, full of their own importance, and convinced of their wonderfulness, with far too much money?

I think he would fit right in.
