Trump Prepared To Apologise For Britain First Retweets
http:// www.bbc .co.uk/ news/uk -428295 55
A honest and straight forward apology from Trump, so lest say straight away, that its a very welcome development.
But he said, 3 times, that he knew nothing about Britain First....so why did he re-tweet their posts in the first place ? Didn't he realise that his actions would be seen as giving tacit support to BF ?

Hopefully the blunder over the precipitate state visit invite has been worked around and he can come to the UK for a proper visit,
meet the Queen, feel the (slightly downgraded) pomp, and do business.

My point is this.
I am not surprised he knew nothing about Britain First, although a minutes work on his PC would have told him all he needs to know.
But if he really didn't know anything about the organisation, why did he then repeat their tweets, thus giving BF support ?
Its his lack of judgement on the issue that is at fault.

Why anyone with half a brain would object to anyone, whoever it may be, publicising the appalling activities of Islamic extremism is quite beyond me. I don’t think he should apologise for anything. He’s said he had no idea who BF are, and I’d take an educated guess and say that neither does the majority of the British public. They’re not exactly clamouring for membership of this minor, ill-supported, organisation. People need to get this into perspective and really think about whose side they’re on, because Mr Trump, the man whose coming in for all the criticism here, is on our side!
Mikey, you and people who are thinking like you are an embarrassment to this country. He is the elected president of the USA, he will come here as our guest, and I trust our government and the monarchy will have the dignity and the good manners to treat him as such - even if the idiots who are jumping up and down over nothing don't.

no I think you have to be deaf to think that
He has repeatedly said he is on the side of America first which naturally excludes us ( because we are not 'murican ) and on the side of American industry
there doesnt seem to be a third
