But as I have said before, there are large numbers of people in this country who will vote Labour, whatever they propose. Many of them seem to be of the belief that bankrupting the country will only affect the "Rich Tory Toffs" whilst they themselves will remain unscathed. Many of them believe money is provided to them by the government with no idea where it...

Maybe we should be thankful for Abbott and McDonnell as with more credible support Corbyn could have won the last election.

Well said Garaman.

Nice to see Jordyboy9 in use again, is jb14 still going?
Not even in my wildest dreams (or nightmares) can I ever envisage the quadriviate of Corbyn, McDonnell, Thornberry and Abbott holding the four great offices of state.
Hang on lads this isn't fair now , is it ?

The right wingers are now going to have field days , unchallenged ( bit like the lions in the Serengeti ) to go on the attack on the left wingers ,on any topic

//She has been promoted way way beyond her meagre abilities and I find it truly shocking that if Labour were to win the next GE that she would be the Home Secretary.//

But Theresa May and Amber Rudd have acceded to that high office, Desk Diary.

Step up to the mark then Baz.
v-e, comparing May and Rudd with Abbott is like comparing chalk with cheese.
Balders - your'e assuming i have any political allegiance

Anyway , politics bores the **** off me
Spot on, N.J.. It could, horrifyingly, happen if Brexiters desert the Tories in droves - which they will if there is a fudge. A lot of the votes for the Tories at the last election were, like me, people who had voted UKIP to force a referendum, but then saw the best chance of fulfilling their wishes by voting Tory - despite the appalling election campaign.
//net immigration RISES to 244,000 a year and is still more than DOUBLE the PM's target but numbers from the EU drop below 100,000 for first time since 2013//

The word "net" understates the real problem, doesn't it, Jordy Boy?

Many of the 100,000 or so leavers will be well-off Brits going off to spend their money on the Algarve or the Costa del Sol. The gross[i number of immigrants is an extra 100,000 or so a larger than the quarter of a million net figure. Many of these extra 100,000 will never be (pardon the word) [i]net] contributors to the UK economy. And if it is true that the proportion of immigrants from EU countries is falling, then the proportion of newcomers who will never contribute is almost certainly rising.

Question Author
no mention of third world migrants legal or otherwise, who bring their backward cultures with them, diseases fgm crime, and of course non integration, but will happily take tax payer benefits for life, and bring in the rest of their families to do the same.

Baz @ 17:25, then why are you here?
