So when the call comes, ymb, you'll tell Theresa you can't support her because of what Tony Blair did or didn't do all those years ago ;-)
You are of course entitled to belive what you believe or don't believe.
Some spokesman for the Russian government explained how the British government faked this attempted killing in an action that was reminiscent of Hitler.

So I guess that's that cleared up then.
Some tit-for-tat diplomatic expulsions and financial restrictions will happen I expect, but nothing that will change Putin's policy of executing traitors wherever they are.

The only thing to be done is for the Govt to protect it's spies better so they're not so easy to find.
“So Now We Know ... It was the Novichok class of deadly nerve agent used in Salisbury.

Let’s rephrase that so your op reads

“So We’ve been “told but have no way of knowing the truth”... It was the Novichok class of deadly nerve agent used in Salisbury.
This is a Soviet/Russian-made poison.”

You can rephrase it to suit yourself as much as you like. The Russians depend on people simply not believing what people say.
interesting that Rex Tillerson said supportive things about the UK government in this matter....... and now he's been fired. Is the Donald sending signals to his ol' mate Vlad?

"Since its independence in 1991, Uzbekistan has been working with the government of the United States to dismantle and decontaminate the sites where the Novichok agents and other chemical weapons were tested and developed"

What, actually, is your point, if any? Novichok class weapons were developed in Uzbekistan under top secrecy for years. It was only later, after the defection of Mr Mirzayanov later that the nature of the programme came out. Plainly the Soviet Union, and later Russia, have illegally hoarded their supposedly banned weapons, just as they have aided Assad to do the same in Syria.
"Plainly the Soviet Union, and later Russia, have illegally hoarded their supposedly banned weapons, just as they have aided Assad to do the same in Syria. "

more speculation/conspiracy theory.

The obvious point is that America had/have? access, the Uzbek dictatorship had/have? access, and possibly every advanced chemical weapons establishment in the world have experimented with the Novichok class agents "for antidote purposes"; your hatred blinds you.

You’ll have to do better than that tovarishcha seven ;-)

As I already explained, the Novichok programme was kept secret until one of their scientists defected. We’re it not for that we would know nothing about it. As far as we know it has never even been used.
"As I already explained, the Novichok programme was kept secret until one of their scientists defected."
-what relevance is that ? it was put in the public domain in 1992.

"We’re it not for that we would know nothing about it. As far as we know it has never even been used."
- this whole thread relates to a double agent, get it? spying, secrets that 'need' to be hoarded from public view... you know, the Holy Cloak of National Security.

Did you like the chemical warfare Labs, emir ?
Question Author
Sorry I don’t really follow you.
This is a weapons programme developed illegally and in top secret by the Soviet Union and laterally Russia. It was only known about after the defection. That doesn’t mean it everyone started making it :-)
People who know what they are talking about have said this could only have come from Russia and I have not seen anything to even remotely suggest any other plausible scenario.
"People who know what they are talking about have said this could only have come from Russia and I have not seen anything to even remotely suggest any other plausible scenario. "

And who were these 'knowers' ?

I have already mentioned that the U.S. and the Uzbekis had/have access, the Sputnik link to "'Every Laboratory in the West Has Samples of 'Novichok' Nerve Agent' - Analyst" will possibly be treated as a chemical weapon to you
