Blair started Women only Shortlists so he could have his "Blairs babes" I remember Jackboot Jackie saying she was proud of winning on a Women's only list and all I could think of was that 50% of the electorate in her constituency has been written off becoming candidates. How fair's that?

When Harman was acting Labour Party leader in 2015, she put a whip on Labour MPs who opposed the Tories welfare bill, forbidding them from voting against it.

That led to a spectacular revolt and humiliation for Harman. She didn’t stand in the leadership contest because she knew no one would vote for her.

She was even worse Labour leader than Margaret Beckett, and that is saying something.
