No doubt you would want the accomplice to get trauma therapy. Get real. They broke into someone's property and wanted to relieve him of goods he had probably worked hard for and you are feeling sorry for them. No sympathy whatsover and dogooders like you make me so mad. He got what he deserved.

We discussed this in the Alba household last night and the consensus was the gentleman was acting in self-defence.
If the low-life hadn't been where he wasn't invited, then he deserved it and the police are trying to follow the law.
Hopefully, the CPS will throw this out.
If it ever came to court, the jurors will find him innocent of manslaughter/murder
(unless the jurors are made up of burglars and low-live scum)

// looks like self defence to me so why has he been arrested for murder?//
because you have still no idea about the grounds sufficient to arrest - quite low
dead body - knife wound, easily enough to suspect murder
[In the stephen Lawrence case, on review the detective said he had insufficient grounds ( and so didnt arrest the eventual convict ) and this caused disbelief and gasps because oops he was using the wrong rule)

Glad he's not going to be charged. For the sake of argument if someone broke into my house and attacked me, they would fall down the stairs repeatedly until they were dead if practicable. I think it's fair enough if you are attacked by an intruder to protect yourself even if that has fatal consequences. It's not the same as the case where a fleeing intruder was shot in the back several years ago from a considerable distance, that was absolutely wrong.

yeah the last one was acquitted even though there were 40 stab wounds on the burglar.
But you cant shoot stab them as they flee - or stab/shoot them in the back as it is difficult to persuade a jury that burglars attack buttocks first.
He was in the kitchen ....
